THE APPEARANCE OF THE SIX LINES OR DOUBLESTREETS

THE APPEARANCE OF THE SIX LINES OR DOUBLESTREETS

line / doublestreet ( French : transversale simple ) : six number bet

Many players prefer betting on lines or doublestreets, because with 6 out of 37 or 38 numbers probability and chance-size are approximately equal. Also the appearance of the six regular lines can be followed and recorded easily.

The numbers 1 - 36 of the roulette wheel are arranged on the table in six lines:

Each appearance of a line between two other lines is regarded with reference to its classification as a single unit or simply as a single. If a line appears at least twice consecutively, a series is formed.

In a permanence of 1024 spins without consideration of zero/doublezero, the appearance of a single line is as follows:

The six lines together will appear approximately under the following conditions:

The following table shows the law of appearance of all figures of the six lines ( left column : appearance / right column : number of spins ):

The analysis of the six lines leads to a more specifically ascertainable area of probability: the law of third is also valid with the appearance of the lines or doublestreets: within six consecutive spins only four of the six lines will appear. Within the next six spins "mathematically" only two-thirds of the two other lines will appear. We can this easily check with the frequency of the appearance of the lines ( see table below). Four lines will have come out after six spins, within the next four spins only one of the other two lines will show and the last line appears with the fifteenth spin ( to be mathematically exact: with spin 16).

Within these 15 to 16 spins one of the six lines probably has come up four times. Which one this can be is easy to pursue: it can only be one from those that at least came out already three times. This on the other hand can be only 2 different lines in 15 spins in the average. Hereby, the principle becomes clear: one of the two series of 3 normally will form the first series of 4.
In the average, this will be the case with spin 14.

The following table shows the frequency of the appearance of the six regular lines in respect of the spin run:

The above statistics can be used to develop systems for six number (line), twelve number ( dozens or columns) and even money bets.

The eleven cross-lines of the roulette table allow to increase the number of the six lines about five. From these eleven transversals, five overlap the others six.

there are:

5 LOW LINES:1-6, 4-9, 7-12, 10-15, 13-18;
1 LINE overlapping low and high:16-21
5 HIGH LINES:19 -24, 22-27, 25-30, 28-33, 31-36.

In the explanation of the law of the appearance of the lines we have assumed zero/doublezero as not existent because they do not interrupt the formation of the figures of the lines. If zero/doublezero do appear, the loss must be accepted and the bet has to be repeated.
